I am remodeling my home and gutting the inside and putting on new siding and windows and doors. The house is from the 50’s so then windows are not standard, nor do they all match in size…a friend recommended to go to Norm’s Bargain Barn. They had dozens of standard sizes and odd sized windows but none to match my house.

As I was looking at the windows Greg came up to me and asked if he could help. I explained my dilemma and showed him my list of odd sized windows. He explained he could custom make all those sizes and it would not be much more than the standard sizes. It would be the highest rated energy efficient glass and would not take long to be delivered. He followed up later with the estimate and answered all my questions. It is a real joy to work with people this helpful and caring.

We visited you store last night for the first time. What a GREAT experience we had! The store was clean, the prices were great, and the young man helping us was so polite and didn’t try to pretend he knew everything. If he didn’t know an answer to our question, he would ask someone instead of making something up! We ended up purchasing a new front door and two new windows (that we still need to pick up), and we are completely rehabbing our house and we plan to be back for our kitchen cabinets and interior doors.

We both just could not believe our experience as we talked about it on the way home and just thought someone should know, it’s not very often you get service like that anymore. Thank you!

I originally ordered by cabinets and quartz counters through Menards. I stopped by Norm’s and talked to Kourtney Nyga. She looked at my blue prints and showed me the errors in what they had ordered. One of the cabinet doors I wouldn’t have even been able to open! She was able to get me better quality cabinets and quartz for around the same price as Menards. (Actually the cabinets are SOLID wood. My contractor was impressed.) Also, Menards, won’t come out to measure, (big mistake) and Norm’s will. Kourtney is an experienced, professional, interior designer, something you also won’t find at places like Menards! She was helpful with my design decisions and extremely patient with my indecisiveness. She was prompt to return my calls and messages and was there every step of the way. (Good luck to the people who try to get a hold of someone at Menards cabinet and counter area!) If you want quality for less and professional help (for free) check out Norms! I’m so glad I did!

We were looking for a pantry cabinet to match our existing cabinets. While they had the same brand/style, the manufacturer had just discontinued our existing color. Betsy was very helpful throughout the process, even contacting the manufacturer to see if they happened to have enough of the old color left sitting around to make this one cabinet. They didn’t, but she recommended a different color that would work well with what we already had, and just needed to replace the cabinet above the fridge with one in the new color for the pantry to connect to. The new cabinets looks great and we couldn’t be happier. Will definitely use these guys again in the future.
